MotorLand all set for CEV Repsol

MotorLand Aragon is getting set to host the second round in the CEV Repsol calendar. Next 25th and 26th of May the Aragón circuit will be the meeting point for more than a hundred riders from up to 24 different countries.

The current leader of the Moto3™ class, Bryan Schouten (NED-FTR), will defend his newly acquired position in his debut season in the CEV Repsol. Schouten has the same points as Fabio Quartararo (FRA-FTR) who is second in the standings, but his more recent win puts him ahead. The top two riders are closely followed in third place by Adrián Martín (SPA-Kalex-KTM), who won the second Moto3 race of the championship in Catalunya.
Holding the top position in the Moto2™ ranking is Alejandro Mariñelarena (SPA-Suter). The rider, who will have the support of the home fans, will have to stand up to one of his toughest rivals, Malay Hafizh Syahrin (MAL-Kalex), who was robbed of the chance of a podium place by the rain in the last outing at Catalunya. Coming up from behind, Román Ramos (SPA-Ariane), won’t make things easy for him: a winner himself, Ramos has regularly finished in the top five in the overall rankings in the last three seasons of the CEV Repsol.
The struggle between Xavier Forés (SPA-Ducati) and Iván Silva (SPA-BMW Motorrad) promises thrills. They were both crowned Champions of the CEV Stock Extreme Repsol in 2010 and 2011 respectively, but they will have to fight it out on the track to confirm who is best.
Next Sunday’s race schedule is as follows:
11:00 Moto2 (15 laps)
12:00 Stock Extreme (15 laps)
13:00 Moto3 (15 laps)
14:00 Moto2 (15 laps)
