Idemitsu Honda Team Asia establishes riding school

Idemitsu Honda Team Asia has relocated to France and, in doing so, launched a collaboration with CIP in order to create a riding school dedicated to Asian riders.


On Monday, the Moto2™ outfit staged a presentation at Alès Pôle Mécanique in France - the country in which the team has been located since March of this year. The new riding school will be overseen by former Grand Prix rider and team manager Tady Okada.
‘The idea is to create a riding school dedicated to Asian riders,’ the squad explains via an official press release. ‘This school should allow the riders to come to Europe and help them to develop the necessary skills to become Grand Prix riders.’
At the end of the presentation, Idemitsu’s Yuki Takahashi and was joined by CIP Moto3 rider Alan Techer for an on-track display.
